Hempfield BIC is a warm, friendly, active congregation where we take the eternally relevant teaching of the Bible and apply it to practical every day life. Our worship style is contemporary, we include creative audio/visual elements in our services, and our dress is casual. We are committed to sharing the love of Jesus in ways that those who are just checking out Christianity will find helpful in their search process. At the same time, we also design our ministry in such a way that long term Christ followers will find challenging and instructive.
HBIC provides special programs for people of all ages, including children’s, youth, and men’s and women’s ministries, among a number of seasonal activities and events. Prayer has always been an important part of our ministry. We meet for our weekly prayer meeting to pray for needs both from within the congregation and from without.
